Senior Client Partner - UK

The Senior Client Partner is an integral role within the Sova team; responsible for contributing to the overall growth of the business by identifying key business development opportunities.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and secure new business opportunities to sell Sova Assessment solutions within the UK.
  • Identify and manage business opportunities and deliver annual revenue in line with specified targets.
  • Respond to incoming client enquiries and sales leads in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Lead the response to invitations to tender and the preparation and presentation of client proposals.
  • Develop and establish strategic partnerships to effectively promote Sova, leading to a growth in business.
  • Collaborate with global partners and distributors to grow international sales and establish global accounts.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and identify opportunities for additional business and cross-selling.
  • Work closely with internal teams across the business to assist in the scoping, development and delivery of client solutions.
  • Manage the contracting and account administration process to ensure that contractual/legal obligations are met.
  • Act in line with the Sova values (Making Science Work, Different Together, Restless Spirits, Ever Upwards)

  • Proven success in a sales environment within the assessment/psychometrics industry.

Technical Product Manager - UK

As Technical Product Manager you will play a substantial role in crafting and delivering our platform strategy. Working closely with our consultants, clients and engineers, you will oversee development and support on the platform for everything from client projects to product enhancements.


Key responsibilities include:

  • collaborate with clients and with the in-house project implementation team to establish specifications for new features and products
  • liaise with the development team to communicate requirements, assist with technical inquiries and to prioritise the plan of works
  • write and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
  • establish quality standards for new features and products on the platform
  • design and conduct comprehensive tests to validate and sign off on all new features and bug fixes
  • lead investigations into platform bugs, coordinating between clients, the technical support engineer, and the development team to ensure that we are constantly improving our technology and people processes
  • lead training programs and provide support for consultants and clients

Who are we looking for?

This role requires a professional who combines technical product acumen with a user-centred and analytical mindset. The ideal Technical Product Manager is someone who has:

  • experience as a technical business analyst or a technical product manager (three or more years’ experience preferred)
  • talent for conducting technical & process analysis, turning complex
  • business requirements into clear and comprehensive specifications
  • passion for partnering closely with development teams
  • facility with Agile software development methodologies using Jira (or similar bug tracking and project management software)
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • a client-centric approach that puts the client at the heart of everything you do
  • effective problem-solving skills to identify the most effective and efficient way to resolve issues
  • attention to detail, with the ability to plan both your own work as well as the work of others

Technical Support Engineer - UK

We design personalised, digitally-enabled assessment solutions to help our clients make better hiring decisions. Central to these solutions is our online assessment platform. As the Technical Support Engineer, you will provide Tier 2 support for both clients and our in-house team.


Key responsibilities include:

  • use your technical expertise to understand, resolve, and escalate technical issues impacting our platform
  • support day-to-day platform use by working with Tier 1 support to resolve client issues
  • prepare detailed analyses and code-level insights for escalation to senior engineers
  • create and maintain technical documentation
  • monitor system performance, stability, and security
  • write scripts to simplify developer and administrative tasks
  • perform QA testing on new products and features
  • think strategically about how to improve our support workflow and better serve our clients
  • communicate with various audiences, including clients, developers, account managers, consultants, and other support team members

Who are we looking for?

This role requires an outgoing and articulate software developer with a user-centred and analytical mindset. The ideal Technical Support Engineer is someone who has:

  • at least 3 years of software development experience in PHP 5+ and Drupal 7
  • experience with front-end web technologies (HTML/Javascript/CSS)
  • experience with Python 3 and Django, or a proven interest and ability to learn new languages and frameworks
  • a solid understanding of relational databases, in particular MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • some unix/linux administration skills
  • working familiarity with using git for source control and Jira (or similar) for bug/feature tracking
  • tenacious debugging skills using a methodical and analytical approach
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

Some bonus points...

  • A working knowledge of configuring and deploying Amazon Web Services products
  • Experience with writing and running Selenium unit tests
